Hi, I'm Holly.

A 35-year old Scottish Lass with a love for highlight, heels and homeware.

Brand Focus: Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury is a brand that has really shot to fame in the past year.  Obviously the brand has been on the go a lot longer than a year but for me, it's been brought to my attention by other bloggers and I feel as though my life and beauty regime will forever be thankful.

Charlotte Tilbury is not exactly an affordable brand but for me, it's not overpriced for what you get. Every product I have used from CT has been of extremely high quality and looks incredible.

I've always said that CT packaging looks a lot like a vintage wardrobe.  It's dark mahogany brown with a gold seperator and the actual products are wrapped in rose gold. Y'all know how much I love Rose Gold and so this is right up my street.

The palette you see in the picture is "The Rebel" palette which has three different shades of green and a cream like colour to go with it.  I'm not normally a 'green' kind of girl, I'm a big lover of all things neutral but on this occasion I just couldn't help falling in love with it.

My favourite shade is the bottle green shade on the bottom right.  For me, this looks stunning in the crease and outer corner of the eyes blended in with the lightest shade in the palette.  It's also really pretty when used as an eyeliner just to accentuate the lash line.  The pop of colour is bang on trend without looking too 90's chick.

I always find the shadows to be highly pigmented and they last all day without creasing or fading.

The lip pencil you see is in shade "Pillow Talk" and it is a pinky nude that is just the perfect nude for all skin tones. I've said before that some nudes just don't work well with my skintone because I have really pale skin and a lot of nudes are quite orange toned which just doesn't work well for me. I've put in a pictre below of the lip liner being worn - sorry about the bare face and dark eye circles!

I love wearing this on it's own because it's really non drying but is completely matte. I found it lasted for hours on end and if you're not really into the whole matte finish then applying a clear gloss on top will give you a lovely shine.

Charlotte Tilbury is a brand that has really grabbed my attention and by the looks of the current collection, it will continue to do so.

What are your thoughts on Charlotte Tilbury makeup?
