OOTD: Yours Clothing Edit

Being a curvy girl, I love experimenting with Fashion without feeling as though I've pushed my boundaries.  Sleeveless tops are a no-no, but teamed with a blazer, looks fantastic.  Bold prints, particularly on bottoms, are normally a huge fashion fail for me, but teamed with monochrome tops and simple styles are a winning combination and makes me feel bang on trend - just like standard size or petite girls!

Everything that I am wearing is from Yours Clothing but I just wanted to explain the whole outfit and tell you about the trend that I'm trying to rock.

Trying to pull off floral trousers is no easy feat when you're standard sized, but when your plus sized, it feels as though it probably just will never happen.  I remember looking through Pinterest at pictures of curvy fashion and there was this gorgeous girl wearing a pair of floral peg leg ankle grazer trousers and a strapless top.  I am nowhere near brave enough to pull off the strapless top look or the fitted peg leg look, but I definitely fancied having a crack at trying the trend in my own unique way.

These trousers are pull on and are in a scuba material. I love that they feel structured like a fitted trouser. but are as comfortable as joggers! While these are straight legged, they do have a very slight flare towards the bottom of them which might sound horrible. but actually this helps to balance my frame quite well.

I decided that a sleeveless top would be acceptable (as long as I could layer) and so I am wearing this white dip back top. I love this colour, but it's actually available in a whopping 15 colours. This is dipped back but only slightly.

Finally, I layered this up with a black blazer.  Girls, if you're a curvy lady then a 3/4 length sleeve is super flattering from us.  This is single breasted which is also flattering for fuller figures. (Double breasted tends to widen you out - be warned!).

I love this look, I feel as though it's a safe bet without being too 'safe'. I feel almost as though I could head to Fashion week wearing this outfit (switching the flat shoes for heels and the bag for a black City bag). It's so easy to go from daytime chic to night time sassy with this outfit.

Thanks to Yours Clothing for allowing me to experiment affordably! Speaking of Yours Clothing, they have actually recently opened two stored in Scotland - one in Glasgow and one in Livingston.  The two stores are a little bit too far away from me (I am in Dumfries) but if you live close by, make sure you head into their stores and check out their collection - I'm also pretty sure the staff would be only too happy to help with any fashion questions you may have!

Do you like the whole 'printed trousers' trend? Let me know in the comments below and also be sure to let me know if you've been to one of their newly opened stores!

  8. Anything that is too uproarious says something, you need consideration AND you don't have the foggiest idea how to dress. On the off chance that course looking striking, and seeking after a strange look can give you a few props, yet wearing a metallic dress with a noisy shading spells C-L-O-W-N. 13. Clothing tends to wear out pretty quickly. Even if your clothes don't wear, they will go out of fashion in a year or so. Your work or other occasions may want you to spend money on clothing as well. If you are on a budget, you can still buy clothing. Read on to know more. top army sweatshirts in India
