My Hair Rescue Kit

Our hair goes through a lot girls.  Let's be honest, no matter how much we try to kid ourselves, years of bleach, dyes, hot weather, backcombing and hairspray has left our hair in desperate need of some TLC, which is why I thought I would show you all my Hair rescue kit.

I like to use something 'repairing' on my hair and the Garnier Ultimate Blends Strength Restorer "Honey treasures" really makes my hair feel like it's had therapy.  I notice less breakage when I have used this and it doesn't feel heavy on my hair at all.

About twice a week, I use Sacha Juan Hair Repair after I have shampoo'd.  I work it in through the ends of my hair and then massage it through towards the root with a really small amount so not to weigh it down. I leave that on for about 5-10 minutes and rinse it out. This literally leaves my hair feeling incredibly silky soft. Not to mention, it smells a bit like men's deodorant which is gorgeous.

For time's when I need a bit of extra moisture in my hair, I use the Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructive deep conditioner. I leave it on for erm... three minutes and rinse it out and my hair feels like I've been to the hairdressers (you know that feeling you get at the hairdressers that you can never re-create at home? yup, this is it!)

I always ALWAYS use a heat defence product and this one from Tres Emme.  It's such an affordable brand that never fails to get the job done which is why I always turn to them for heat defence and even styling creams etc.

With summer officially on our doorsteps (woohoo!) I think this routine will save my hair even in the hottest weather (or as hot as it gets in Scotland!).

What is in your hair rescue kit?

  1. I've got the Sacha Juan Hair repair at home. Think I need to give it another go, my hair needs some rescue help!
