Asos Curve Bodysuit
With that said, Asos Curve kindly sent me a few things recently, one of which was this racy, low cut lace red bodysuit. I love the detailing and the sleeves, but it is extremely low cut. I spent a good hour or so getting myself and my camera set up before plucking up the courage to take some photo's.I posted them to social media (instagram mainly) and everyone who commented was lovely about it but it did definitely make me self conscious. I'm self critical about everything, from my teeth to my shoe size. I'm never critical of anyone else's appearance, just my own. Sigh!
With all of that said, here's the photo's.
Thanks Asos Curve for making me look at myself through other people's eyes and for giving me a wee confidence boost!
I'm not sure I'd wear this in public because it is SO low cut, but if I do, I might wear it under a closed blazer and jeans which would give a peekaboo effect without being too revealing.
Would you wear something like this? I do love a good bodysuit!

ReplyDeleteI can relate to this, Holly. I'm not always body confident either and have purchased a few items from ASOS' Curve range in the past and I think its a fab range but can be a bit 'touch and go' at times.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I wouldn't wear a bodysuit outdoors but that's from after being on the receiving end of nasty comments when I wore one on a night out a few years back.
Putting that aside though, I think you totally pull this off and agree with the comment above with the fact that you really suit red! <3 x
I think you look absolutely FAB, Holly! The colour really suits you, and you rock it with total confidence in your pics - I'd never have guessed that you were unsure about this outfit if you hadn't said! I also completely experience the critical thoughts about my own appearance, when I'd never judge anyone else so harshly! Self love is definitely something I need to work on!

You look absolutely stunning although I know that it's not always easy to see that for yourself. I'm also uber-critical of my appearance and can be very harsh on myself. I'd love that bodysuit and although it is a little risque I could possibly be persuaded to wear it for a night out - in the right circumstances.

I totally get what you mean, I think everyone is critical of their own appearance whereas we're so good at bigging others up it's a shame we can't be as kind to ourselves! Omg you look stunning and so is that bodysuit! Like you, I'm not sure I'd have the confidence to wear it out but maybe under a black blazer, it would look super sleek! I love this colour too, red is my colour!
