Real Techniques Multi Tech Collection

Real Techniques are dominating the brush industry right now and thankfully you needn't be a millionaire to get your hands on them.  Sam Chapman & Nic Haste (AKA Pixiwoo) have newly released their Real Techniques Multi Tech Collection and I was lucky enough to be sent some to try out! (Thanks girls!)

DESIGN

These are white with an angled black base which has a Youtube play icon. The font is the usual Real Techniques logo, but written in pink. I love monochrome with a pop of colour, so this is right up my street. Sadly the brushes don't stand on their own unlike most of the other RT brushes, but thanks to the brushed metal brush stand, that really doesn't matter. I can fit all of the brushes in here, including my eyelash curlers and even some other tools too.

SHAPE

All of the brushes from the Real Techniques Multi Tech Collection come to a center point. The point is ideal for gently working in the product and in smaller brushes is ideal for precision application.

FEEL

These are synthetic and wash amazingly well. Normally I find some brush manufacturers *cough* Morphe & Laura Mercier *cough* get a little 'rougher' as they are washed, but these definitely maintain their softness and keep their shape wash after wash.

DO THEY WORK?

YES! Real Techniques never fail to disappoint and I love them all. My favourites are the eye brushes. I like a large soft brush and the large eye brush is ideal for doing just that. They gather product perfectly and I never have to over work the brush. I've used the brushes everyday for 3 weeks to properly test them out, and despite washing them four times, have not had any shedding whatsoever.

ARE THEY WORTH THE £$?

There are a few rubbish 'dupes' of the Real Techniques brushes out there who claim they're duping to allow people with a smaller budget to afford them. Sadly, it's not true in this case, Real Techniques brushes start at just £4.49 and the 'dupes' (which are not as good quality in my opinion) are £4.99. I'd much rather buy the original product because I trust the brand to be excellent quality. The Multi Tech Collection is on the pricier side, starting at £9.99, but this price includes a metal stand for the product. For me, it's worth every penny!

WHERE CAN I BUY?

You can buy these at Superdrug or from the Real Techniques website.

Have you tried out the Real Techniques Multi Tech Collection?

  1. I love real techniques! I always buy sets for my sister as she is a lot more into her make-up than I am! Her birthday just passed so might have to pick these up for her x

  2. I have yet to try Real Techniques as they do always seem a little on the pricey side in shops, but my eye is always drawn to them. I suppose you get what you paid for so maybe it's worth the extra pennies for some good quality brushes.

  5. I've been eyeing these up for a while, they look great! Although I've been fortunate to receive quite a few brushes from a few different brands, so I really don't need to purchase any! I love that they're cruelty free and dry super quick though.

  10. I love RT brushes so I definitely want to try these out! I really like the design of them, the black and white looks lovely (though I'll have the white handles filthy in no time ha). I'm not the hugest fan of the eye brushes, so I'm not sure if I'll be buying them, but I will definitely be getting the face brushes at some point.

  13. I absolutely love Real Techniques brushes, I would rather spend on the genuine product than save a few £s to buy knock-offs because I just think they're not as good, plus I want to support the sisters! I haven't tried anything from this range, though it looks very interesting. My mum grabbed one of the face brushes and it seems to do wonders with blush.
