Clarins Lip Balm Crayons Review & Swatches

As any of you who are regular readers of my blog will know, I'm a big fan of Clarins, in actual fact, it's one of the first beauty brands I really loved, we all know how long ago that was!

I was sent three of the Clarins Lip Balm Crayons and so wanted to do a little review with some swatches for you.

L-R Delicious Plum, Creamy Pink, Sweet Cherry
These are literally like tinted lip balms, the pigmentation isn't huge but they're definitely buildable to give a more pigmented look.  They all smell amazing! they're sort of shea buttery - I am so useless at describing things! Sorry about that!

Here's what they look like after a fair bit of layering on my lips..

The top one is "Delicious Plum" which as you can see from the packaging looks really dark in the pan but is really quite subtle on the lips, the middle one is "Sweet Cherry" and is probably my favourite of the three, its just the perfect colour for Summer and I love it, finally is "Creamy Pink" and it is a really cute pink which is ideal for if you want to look quite casual on the lips.

I like these, the texture and finish of these is amazing but the colour is quite sheer which I wasn't really expecting. I really like them now that I've tried them but if you were buying these judging by the colour in the pan or packaging you might be a little bit disappointed.

There are six shades available at the moment by my blogger intuition is telling me that Clarins might release more shades at a later date! You can get these for £18.00 by visiting the Clarins website.
