I know what you all are thinking, "Holly where da funk have you been?" Yeeeah I have kind of neglected my blog lately but I promise you all I'm back and I'm good. Let's face it, no-one wants to be bad!
Anyways, I was recently asked to give you all my thoughts on the new Catwalk by Tigi Headshot Shampoo & Conditioner so I am going to highlight my pros and cons as always.
First thing's first, packaging. I am a sucker for packaging. You know it, I know it, the brands know it. I just really love sleek packaging, it really does make all the difference to how I look at something, I look forward to using something I like the look of.
The Tigi Headshot Shampoo & Conditioner is black with a metallic lilac detailing. The bottle is sleek and fits in your hand nicely. I like the packaging a lot but for some reason I feel a little bit rebellious using it, it's less "classy lady" and more "rebellious, edgy, fearless woman" kinda packaging - lord only knows if that makes any sense - you can let me know in the comments below! lol
The next thing I always do is smell the product. This kind of smells like mint which I love but it's really subtle which is even better. I like that once I've blowdried my hair, there is no significant or overwhelming smell to this because I love to add my own fragrance to my outfit without clashing with the scent of my hair.
I washed my hair with this and I must say I didn't get a huge amount of lathering going on. I was a little bit worried about adding conditioner because I wasn't all too sure of how well this had cleaned my hair. Despite this I did of course add some conditioner and left it on for a few seconds before rinsing off. My hair felt super sleek and well conditioned but I was apprehensive to blow dry it because I was unsure of how clean it would be after the lack of lathering-ness. (yup, makes no sense at all)
I was wrong, this cleaned my hair well and my hair looked great! Really shiny and healthy which is a novelty if you've bleached your hair like I have before.
Overall I really liked this product. It was definitely different to what I would normally buy but I think I would re-purchase this once it runs out.
Have you tried any of the Catwalk by Tigi products? Let me know your thoughts on their other products in the comments below so I can try out some other ones!
All My Love...
