#FATFILES - WEEK TWO

WEEK TWO AND I'M STILL HERE! I LOST 2.2LBS!

WOOOOO!!!

Okay so slight dramatics there, but I'm genuinely really happy with myself and the fact that I managed to stick to #FATFILES throughout the week. I know it's only week two but I feel like there's something different this time round. I feel hopeful which is something I haven't really felt in quite some time.

So here's a round up of the week...

This week, I've had the dreaded 'monthlies'. Ladies, you feel my pain.  A little bit TMI but we're all friends here.

Normally during 'that time' I crave sugar, my body feels sluggish. Psychologically, I normally could not be assed doing exercise and would spend my time feeling depressed and anxious for those 4/5 days. My diet would literally be the last thing on my mind but this time I felt energized, my cramps haven't been so bad and I've stuck to my exercise and diet routine without too many issues.

One issue I am having is the weekend. I'm not a big drinker so that's not an issue, but on a Saturday night my family and I have a buffet full of different foods and crisps and chocolate and I was able to refrain from eating too much but I definitely ate more than I should have.  Everyone's allowed a 'cheat' night but I need to learn what is a 'treat' and what is gluttony.

I've exercised everyday this week. I bought a 3kg kettle bell which is pretty darn light, but still heavy enough to make a difference to me because while I'm doing cardio for overall weight loss, I wanted some weights for general toning. I have bingo wings, back flab and every other type of flabby bits that you shouldn't have so toning is essential to me lol

In terms of diet, I have been having cereal in the morning, a cracker or two mid morning, toast for lunch, homemade soup and a filled roll for dinner and maybe a biscuit later on (nothing too heavy though) apart from that, i drink roughly 2 coffee's (with semi skimmed milk and artificial sweeteners) and loooooads of water.  The water in particular has really made a difference to me, my skin looks glowy, not greasy. My hair looks shiny, I have no spots and my energy levels are brilliant.

I literally am loving this feeling right now. I'm living in the moment for the first time in my life and I have to say, without being all preachy peggy, that I don't want to look back from this. I've never felt more positive and while that might change, I'm going to live for now.

What have your experiences been with #FATWEEK ? I do have a wee question for all of you lovely dieters etc out there - FIZZY JUICE! I am an addict, I love diet coke, but surely DIET can't be all that bad for you? or is it? what do you think?

Please as always, leave your comments below and let me know about your progress or if you're needing some motivation. I was so happy that so many people commented last week and I'm really looking forward to seeing how your progress is going this week!

TO INFINITY AND BEYOND! or whatever.

All My Love & Flabby back fat..

  1. I read somewhere that diet fizzy drinks hinder a diet because they taste sweet so your body expects something sweet to eat and doesn't get it so decides to demand it wit bigger hunger than usual, bit think it depends on how good your will power is to ignore the extra hungry feelings? X

    1. Ahh okay, that makes sense! I wasn't sure about that at all, but I think I might do myself a deal and keep fizzy drinks for the weekend. xxx
