A Little Fitness Update

I know its not been long since I did my first fitness post but I thought I would share a few things with you and give you a little fitness update.

The past week as you all know has seen a complete diet overhaul. I expected to struggle but actually it was the easiest thing I've ever done. I literally just decided to change my nutrition and started doing it instantly. I think the only difference between this time and every other time that I've tried to do this is simply my mindset. I always thought I was 'ready' but then I'd spend my time craving junk food. Now, because I'm mentally 'ready', I'm not craving anything. I'm actually really happy eating the way I am now.

For sure there are going to be days where I struggle. I'm not perfect. I had my monthlies (TMI - Soz LOLZ!) over the weekend and on one particular day, I felt so dizzy and sore that I ended up needing to eat something instantly sugary and all I could find was a chocolate brownie with fudge icing on top. Total indulgence and total heaven. I needed it. I listened to my body and did what I felt I had to do and I don't regret it. I have a cheat meal on a Saturday which really helps me. I always say "Ok Holly, if you eat fish and veggies today then you can have a slice of pizza and some crisps on saturday". I think that's probably another reason why I haven't really been craving anything.

Anyways, here's what you all want to know. How did it affect the scales?

In 9 days, I lost 5lbs. That's a lot. I don't expect to loose that every week and I realize it's an initial weightloss due to the fact I have a lot to loose. If I can loose 2.2lbs per week (1kg) I'll be more than happy!

In terms of exercise, I have been doing some weights (8kg) and some random dancey stuff on Youtube. I like low impact exercise (no jumping) because things like jumping jacks really hurt my stomach. So I reckon if I loose some weight and then incorporate some high impact things then it will hurt less.

I turn 30 in September so I'm hoping to be at a healthy happy weight by then (and maybe even a size 16!)

How are your cutbacks working out? I'd love to hear your tips and tricks!
