REVAMP YOUR WARDROBE FOR 2014

 

Statement pieces to turn your wardrobe around! 

Hi everyone!

I recently did a 'Revamp Your Makeup Bag For 2014' feature and while I still looooves my 2013 wardrobe, It needs a little bit of a revamp for 2014. 

I am loving 'coat'igans and while the coat I'm wearing is a fully lined warm coat, it looks a lot like a cardigan too. I got this to go with relatively casual outfits to make them a little bit more winter/spring time chic without adding too much glam.  This one is from Yours Clothing and costs £55.

I am wearing some Jeggings from New look. Jeggings are probably the closest thing to jeans you will ever catch me wearing, I dislike denim enormously. I have no idea why but I think it stems from my old school days when I used to wear baggy jeans and the pictures make me look like an emo kid hahaha Holly + Emo = Bad look!

With the jeggings, Im wearing a long length black strappy top from Primark and a red jumper which has a visible gold zip at the back which is actually from George at Asda.

I teamed the outfit with a statement necklace from New Look which i love! Im a huge fan of accessories and I love that New Looks are so affordable and yet bang on trend.

Accessories have the uncanny knack of making a boring outfit look amazediggitydawg! No idea where that saying came from LOLS!

For a more glamorous look, I looked to Asos Curve...

This dress is super glam and really bang on trend for 2014.  Red is such a wintry colour but works well for transitioning between winter and spring.  I am still in the mode of wearing black tights which is perfect for this dress! 

The dress feels comfortable and yet fitted, which for me is something I always look for - a great fit. I feel so much for confident when something fits the way I want it to.

I really like black ankle boots and these ones have a glamorous twist to them - a silver stiletto! They are from Matalan and look really edgy with this gorgeous dress.

You can accessorize this dress with a blazer, big accessories and even some different shoes to give a completely different look. A statement dress is a wardrobe must have.

Adding simple accessories can really change up an outfit and so you needn't buy too many items to change up your wardobe, Adding statement pieces like this chic coat and glamorous dress can make you feel fashion forward for any occasion.
