Clarins everlasting foundation review!

Hey everyone!

I recently did a vlog about a clarins everlasting foundation I got and wanted to tell you all about.

Normally I dislike compact foundations, I normally find them gimmicky and tacky on your skin but was really intrigued to try the everlasting foundation by clarins.

The colour I got was 001 nude and that's the lightest shade you can get. The colour in the palette looks darker than it actually is when you apply it so if you're inbetween shades definitely go for the darker one.

The coverage is probably the best coverage I've ever had from a compact foundation, its a buildable coverage but even on initial application it was a medium coverage and seemed to hide my imperfections and balance my skintone.

After applying this, I gently stroked my face (not in public - weeeeirdo! Hahaha) and it literally felt as if my face was nekkid..... I felt like I had no product on! I quickly checked in the mirror and still I had a flawless complexion so I was so so pleased that I didn't get that usual tacky horrible cakey feel on my skin!

My favourite thing about any product is packaging! I looooved that clarins went the extra mile with the packaging. It came in a red box with a red suedette-ishy pouch and a list of instructions, care manual and ingredients! The compact is mirrored gold and it just looks so luxurious I feel like I'm in a boutique everytime I apply it! Haha

As for how the product 'wears' it did a great job, my foundation was still flawless after 8 hours (which was when I removed it).

Downsides! Applicator - I loathe sponge applicators, they don't do makeup any favours, sponges absorb the product, meaning that when you apply to your face, its hard to get any product on it! Plus for blending etc sponges aren't the best applicators. Howeeeeever with all of that said I'd rather I was supplied a sponge than nothing at all.

Price wise, this is high end but worth every penny! I would replace this. Its a decision you have to make. I've used this about 6/7 times and I haven't even dented the product yet so it lasts a while :)

If you want this product, visit www.clarins.co.uk and if you have any further questions, ask away and I'll answer to the best of my ability!

Love
